I bought a new bag today, actually it’s a tote. I’ve been looking for one for a while and I just went shopping with Mum this morning. I found IT in the first store I went in to. I got a new bag! La la la…
I know, it sounds silly to be happy about buying a bag, but if you had been looking for a new bag for as long as I have and not finding anything that you like in every shop you walk into you would understand my excitement. If only all shopping was like that.

Starting on Saturday (or possibly Friday night) there were fires reported in my home town, fortunately we weren’t anywhere near it. I still cannot believe it happened, and how close it was. My heart goes out to all the people that have lost loved ones, animals that perished. We won’t forget. Even though there are fires still raging across the state, hopefully all the fire fighters can contain the fires soon. To those responsible, I hope you (all) get caught and are justly punished for the damage you have caused.

Serving it up
The weather forecasters said it would be a hot week and they were right with today reaching over 40 degrees Celsius. The rest of the week looks like it will be getting hotter and it won’t be cooling down until Saturday.
On a different note, we are in the second week of Australian Open. I managed to go last Tuesday and had a great time. I saw some really good matches too. I love tennis!

I’m feeling very accomplished and happy after finally completing my degree. I had the ceremony on Saturday so I’ve even got that all important bit of paper as well as a few letters to my name. Yippee! So, now the next thing to do is find a job. Honestly, I thought that when I moved out of home to study that I’d finally grown up and was more worldly. To an extent I think I have; I’ve had to earn my own money, buy my own food, cook for myself and clean up after myself. But I still have so much to experience and learn. Ah, life! You gotta love life.
