It’s Thursday and yes my weekend does start today. It’s a lovely sunny day and it’s already pretty warm outside. I have been very slack and have not been blogging regularly, but that’s only because I don’t have that much going on at the moment. I’m still going to Tafe and I’ve got a few assessments coming up, eeek! I’ve already had one that wasn’t too bad, the next one though is not going to be fun…MYOB.
I went and saw Confessions of a Shopaholic with the girls, which was a lot of fun. I think I’m going to have to buy it when it comes out on dvd. 🙂 I also had dinner with my old housemates last Friday, which was nice. We reminisced and talked about what each of us were up to. It’s was pretty relaxed, although I think all of us were tired. The biggest news is that one of my friends got engaged. I got to see her engagement ring and it was very sparkly. 😀
My bf is going camping this weekend. I’m going to miss him. At least it gives me a chance to study for Tafe, to keep myself busy and not keep thinking about him and being all sad. I have no reason to be sad, it’s such a beautiful day and I don’t have to go to school. Can’t get much better than that!

Is the name of the song I’ve had in my head all week, and I love it so much. It’s by Josh Pyke who is an extremely talented musician and artist. I’ve just spent a wonderful week living at my boyfriend’s (parents) house and going to Tafe. It was a pretty good week, and it turns out one of my high school mates is also at Tafe although doing a different course…I have a Tafe buddy, it’s so exciting. My teachers seem like a pretty good bunch, approachable and friendly, which is always a welcome sign to me. I was set some homework on the second day but I finished it before the week was out…does that make me a nerd? Probably, but I’ve always been one…hello, I did a maths major and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well, mostly. I let more creative juices flow by (finally) changing my myspace page layout. It’s green and kinda fresh looking, it’s pretty simplistic too…white background and a green design on the left hand side. I liked it, which is the most important thing. I think I might try and change it every now and then, give it a bit of a change up.

It’s the night before my first day at Tafe and I’m feeling excited. I have no idea why, I’m thinking it’s because I’m doing something new (it’ll be different to Uni) and hopefully will make me a more employable person.
An unrelated topic; it seems that there is nothing interesting to watch anymore and it’s supposed to be ratings season. I don’t understand it! I wish Stargate was back on; the only things I have to look forward to are Grey’s Anatomy, House and Scrubs. I suppose it’s a good thing there’s so little on the box because it means I’ll have less distractions and will concentrate on my studies…mmm….I wonder how long that will last….

It was indeed St Valentines day today. It was quite surprising seeing the amount of people crowding the Mall; women carrying bouquets of red roses and males hurrying around looking for a ‘thoughtful’ yet last minute gift for the other half. I didn’t get any such gift, but I was fortunate enough to spend the day with my lovely boyfriend. We’re both a bit strapped for cash so we decided to rent a couple of movies and cook dinner together. Actually, I’m taking time out from cuddling up to the bf watching a movie to write about it..here… I should get back to it.

I’m getting really excited about starting this new course. I’ve got the bag and new stationary so I’m set. My mum and I went shopping this morning, we put it off for one day so that we could contribute some funds to the Bushfire Appeal, and we got the usual food stuffs but also this cool travel mug…and it’s green! I picked it out, so it was only ever going to be green. I love green, green is the bestest colour in the whole wide world. I think there should be more green in the world, people should embrace the green. YEAH!
